The seal serves to keep the pressure inside the pot. Since it is protected by the lid it usually doesn’t need to be changed but the replacement is easy if needed. For the pressure cookers litres12 and the pressure pots litres 6 and 9 of the line Novia, the diameter of the gasket is cm. 26; it is important to check the diameter printed on the bottom of the pot.
